“Coffee with Christ”

(Deuteronomy 7:2-3)
“And when the Lord thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them: Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.”

We live in a world where we are taught to be tolerant. Tolerant of the different cultures from around the world. That we should be color blind. I agree! Racism has NO place in our world view. But in the Old and New Testament we as Christians are taught not to compromise our faith with other religions of the world. While it is true that, Red and Yellow, Black and White, We are all precious in His sight, Jesus loves the little children of every nation on the earth, He will not tolerate idolatry! In Old Testament, in the land of Canaan people of other faiths or no faith were to be killed! Utterly destroyed. In the New Testament, they are to be converted or separated from lest they be used by the enemy to turn our children away to serve other gods, or no God at all. This is where we have arrived in America. The great American melting pot. We have not only received the down trodden of the world which is a good thing, but we have allowed their gods to permeate our society. The anger of the Lord is kindled!

(Deut. 7:4)
“For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.”
