(Romans 1:28-32) “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;”
“For this cause God gave them up to vile affections” Gave them up to the “vile” affections that they already had. Just because you were born a sinner doesn’t mean God made you that way. God does not have to work evil in the heart of man, he has plenty of that on his own. But now God commanders all men everywhere to repent! Is it wrong for Holy God to withhold Grace from sinful man? To turn him over to his own sinful nature and the delusion that it has caused? Man was born a sinful creature and will die a sinful creature without repentance. To think that God made us, so the sinful lusts and desires we have must be ok is part of the blindness that sin brought into the world.
(2 Thessalonians 2:11-12) “And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
