“Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.”

The church for the most part has become a cotton candy factory. It is packed with things that appeal to the world in order to attract the lost. C.H. Spurgeon said the Church is here to feed the sheep, not amuse the goats. Providing amusement is in direct conflict with Christ and the teaching of scripture. You may well grow a congregation of goats with concerts, smoke and mirrors but you will never convert one goat into a sheep. Evolution is not true in the physical not the spiritual world. It is only The Word of God that attract the sheep, but it also repels goats.
