“The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.”

We are living in a time when there are very few parents. A lot of children being born but very few real parents! Most want to be their children’s friend rather than parent. I guess it’s hard to correct a child for doing the things they see the parents doing. Hypocrisy is never a good example! Consistency and repetition is the only way children learn. Correct discipline is never easy. Not for the child nor for the parent, but it is not optional! Be a good example to your children and discipline them when they need it. They will love and respect you for it in the end. And if not, you will have been faithful to the Lord.
