For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.
Isaiah 54:10
The Only Way
How can a sinner approach God? How can a son of Adam come before God, be accepted and be forgiven? Only in the way which God has decreed – NO OTHER WAY!
This is not being too narrow nor radical, for the Scriptures declare this truth over and over. “There is none other name…” “Other foundation can no man lay…” “No man cometh to the Father but by me.” “He that believeth not shall be damned.” (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 Cor. 3:11).
Instead of insisting on another way, let us rejoice in His underserved mercy which provided THE WAY! God has, in grace and mercy, purposed to show mercy to sinners in the only way consistent with His justice, truth, and love – the obedience and sacrifice of His only begotten Son (Rom. 3:19-26).

ALL THINGS ARE YOURS
“Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;”
(1 Corinthians 3:21).
If you are a Christian, “all things are yours.” You have an everlasting Father, the mighty God. He is called the true God and God blessed forever. He came where we were and found us naked and clothed us, starved and fed us, wounded and healed us, unclean and sanctified us, poor and made us rich, in bonds and set us free, enemies and reconciled us, condemned and justified us, lost and saved us, dead and he gave us life. So it can be said according to the scriptures, there is rest for the weary, food for the hungry, strength for the weak, and pardon for the guilty. For all things are yours, but nothing is yours until God becomes yours by union with his Son. You must bow and kiss the Son lest he be angry. “Christ is the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him.”
Pastor Scott Richardson
“For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen” (Romans 11: 36).
Speaking of God the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, the apostle Paul writes of three things that should cause every child of God to continually rejoice in HIM! OF Him Christ is the CAUSE of all things. THROUGH Him Christ is the MEANS of all things.TO Him Christ is the END of all things.
The Lord Jesus Christ is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. (Rev 22:13) Christ is all, and in all. (Col 3:11) We don’t make HIM Lord of our life, He already is Lord. My only hope of redemption is that God might make Him Lord of my life. All things, especially salvation, are OF HIM, as the cause, THROUGH HIM, as the means, and TO HIM, in the end. Truly God saves His elect for His own name’s sake. (Is 48:11) Has God shown you that? If He has then you will proclaim as Paul did, “to HIM be glory for ever. Amen.”Pastor David Eddmenson
WHO IS THE BLESSED PERSON? (Psalm 32:1-2)
Who would you say is the truly blessed man? Most people would probably say; well, it is the person who has good health, “if you have good health you have everything.” To them I would answer, good health is only temporary. One day soon the flesh must wither and die and after that is judgment (Psalm 103:14; Isa. 40:6). Others might answer that the person who is wealthy, surely he is a blessed man. Again, wealth may purchase a lot of things and influence many people, but we can be sure that we are not redeemed with corruptible things as silver and gold (1 Peter 1:18).
David in Psalm 32 gives us the right answer to this very important and sobering question. "Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile." Truly, here is the statement of the Almighty God that identifies who is truly blessed. It is the person who through the bloody sacrifice of Jesus Christ, (the sinner’s Substitute) has had his sin covered by the effectual atonement of the appointed Lamb (Heb. 2:17; John 1:29); his transgressions are forgiven because the Saviour took our sins and judgment to Himself (1 Peter 3:18). Our Lord also declares unto us that the believer is blessed, because the Lord will not impute, charge or reckon our iniquities unto us (Rom. 8:1; Rom. 4:6).
In the light of this scripture and many others throughout the Word of God, who would you say is truly blessed of God? Certainly it is plain to see, it is the believer who is resting the whole of his salvation in Jesus Christ the Righteous (1 John 2:1-2). Carefully read the following scripture. "Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit"(Jer. 17:5-8).
