(1 Thessalonians 4:13) “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.”
So much heartache, suffering, loss. How do those who don’t know the Lord cope with hopelessness? Thank God for His comfort and presence in His peoples lives. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble. May the peace of God that passes all understanding keep the hearts of those who are in the midst of loss.
(Isaiah 41:10) “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
