Back by popular demand, the Hsu-Jones duo, which gave the inaugural program for the Tenth Concert Series in 2002, will play music for two pianos by Milhaud, Saint-Saëns, Rachmaninoff, and others. Included will be variations written for them by Philadelphia composer Daniel Barta. Having performed together for 15 years, the two musicians bring a special sense of partnership and colorful, dynamic pianism to their programs.
A free-will offering will benefit the work of City Center Academy, a non-profit college-preparatory high school for urban teenagers located at 315 South 17th Street.

Tenth Presbyterian Church is committed to developing and maintaining a strong teaching pulpit in center city Philadelphia, an effective network of fellowship groups aimed at meeting individual needs, a program of Christian education to promote the steady growth of our church family to spiritual maturity and, in cooperation with other Christians, an evangelistic outreach to our city and the world beyond. Over the years Tenth has been blessed with a rich teaching ministry including Dr. James Montgomery Boice speaker on the Bible Study Hour, and Dr. Donald Gray Barnhouse.
