Pastor Eriks has recently taken a call from the congregation of Unity PRC. We are very sad to see him go but are grateful to God for all of his faithful labors here as he went in and out among us. We are especially grateful for the faithful and pure Word which he brought to us from Sabbath to Sabbath and the powerful use of it by God in our spiritual growth as individuals and as a congregation together. We wish Pastor Eriks and his family the Lord's blessing at Unity and on his ministry there. The scriptures say it best, "... as it is written, how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!" ~Romans 10:15b; this being a quote from Isaiah, "How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!" ~Isaiah 52:7
In our vacancy we currently have Prof. Cammenga preaching the end of the Heidelberg Catechism for us and other various local ministers and professors filling the evening services.
