The patience of Paul and Peter: How did they not get involved in ethnic strife? Peter and the 12 appointed deacons to make sure everything was handled fairly. Paul said,

He said,

This is hard for us because we care so little about the souls of men and the glory of God in Jesus Christ. Therefore, we are willing to put our opinions forward, no matter who it hurts and isolates. We care more (often by our actions,) about political commentary than the Name who saved us. It is a triumph of Satan, if he can get the work to cease, but God still has Nehemiah's, Ezra's, and Haggai's to continue the work and keep building. It is difficult, because we all want our opinion known - how we see and interpret the facts.

It takes much prayer and returning fresh to the word, but I guarantee you: If our hearts are soaked with praise… if we are beholding our True Redeemer… then the cares of this world and our personal opinions will subjugate themselves to the gospel of God’s glory.

Too often, we equate the knowledge of Calvinism with Christian maturity. Too often, we forward the memes of others, and do not realize how they SACRIFICED THEIR LIVES for Christ. They were not perfect, and neither are we, but they do show us an example of giving it all to Christ - the control of my tongue, my thoughts, and my deeds. They also reaped the benefits of their labors.

Brethren, we will also succeed, if we go back to the Source, and come out of our prayer closets with, “Thus says the Lord.”

For my part, I’m not afraid to speak on various issues, but I must remind myself whose messenger I am, and why He sent me. I must keep regarding something higher than myself.

Grace be with you, as you endure patiently. Not all will take heed, but let us be more diligent to answer as ambassadors for Christ with love, compassion, and concern. Too often, we laugh at another man’s expense, while he is driven from Christ by our speech.
