In our continuing series “When I am Afraid”, we have embarked on a sub-series "Lessons Learned at Sea". In this sub-series we come to the point of facing what is the greatest fear in the human experience – the fear of death. It was what gripped the disciples at sea and is real in every human being. Lord willing, over the next few weeks, we hope to look at the certainty of death, the causes, the categories, the consequences, and the conquering of death. In doing so, we will grow in greater appreciation for the Gospel and the work of the Lord Jesus removing the sting and fear of death. (Hebrews 2:14-15)
