As we continue to move toward normalized schedules and interactions, we ask that we all be guided by these two biblical principles: an unfailing trust in our Sovereign God who "works all things after the counsel of His will” (Eph. 1:11) and a genuine love for our neighbor as ourselves (Rom. 13:9b). We all have differing opinions about the severity and seriousness of the situation, so in order to truly love our neighbor and fellow believers as ourselves, we ask that you please be considerate of others and their concerns, even if you do not share them. In accordance with those thoughts, we would ask that you honor the following:
1. Please respect other’s concerns about distancing. In seating, please allow approximately 6 feet between your family and others. If you feel compelled to greet someone with a handshake or hug, please ask them for permission before you do so, and be gracious if they decline. If you do not wish to have personal contact and someone asks you, or starts to offer that contact without asking, please be gracious in declining that contact. Of course, you may wear a mask if you choose to do so.
2. Although some contact is certainly required, please continue to try to minimize touching common surfaces (door handles, stair rails, bathrooms, other pews, etc.) We have a hand sanitizer station and restroom sinks available to wash your hands.
3. If you are sick, whether it be from a confirmed case of COVID-19 or "just a cold," please stay home! We love you in Christ, but we don't want you to spread your sickness to others. This does not apply to allergies or long-term illnesses. If you do not attend due to illness of any kind, please let us know so that we can pray for you.
