We have been given tremendous power, the power to communicate the deep things of God, the power to actually interact with another person and share the very stuff of our souls... we have been given the power to share the great heart of the Father with another human being... when we speak the truth in love, we speak words that will bring healing to the soul of another. But even when our words are not about the deep spiritual truths of life, we can draw people to see Christ when our words and demeanor are kind, gentle, caring and pleasant! There is enough anger, hatred and ugly words from warped hearts in this world. We who bear the name of Christ should never be among them!! Even if we're speaking hard truth, we don't need to be ugly about how we do it. Beloved, our Jesus is LOVELY, He is beautiful, He is delightful, let us be careful that we do not misrepresent Him in our own attempts to speak for Him. Be careful how you speak, for words can either kill and wound, or heal and bring life itself!
