Romans 8:28 says, "We know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose."
The question isn't, "Is God doing something good through the Coronavirus?" The question is, "What is the good God is doing?"
We're busy which makes it harder for families to spend time together. God has slowed us down and put us together in our homes. Suddenly, everyone's family-integrated and homeschooling :).
This can be a wonderful blessing, but only if families take advantage of this time. One way to do so is by gathering around the Word of God. Much of the responsibility rests on fathers' shoulders, but mothers and children play a part through their encouragement and participation.
Many of you have told the elders you're praying for us. Thank you so much!
We're trying to make the decisions we believe are best. This season is new for us too. We want to love and serve all of you, while honoring God and pleasing Him.
As always, if you have any questions, please direct them to us.
You'll hear from me again tomorrow.
In Christ, Pastor Scott on behalf of the WCC Elders
