Kaduna was an amazing and memorable trip. We were here, then Katsina, then back to the city.

The villagers came to hear the gospel in great numbers. You see pics of the ladies carrying their own chairs. Several groups met together in a large outdoor atmosphere with no roof. Elders came who lead the community, and most importantly, the gospel was preached with power and repentance happened.

Sometimes, I go places and nothing happens. There’s no connection, no authority in the word, and no interest. I leave frustrated and disappointed, but it helps me to pray and resolve myself again to glorify God from my heart. Then, the next place hears a message, and He’s with us! Their reception of the word was PRE-PLANNED by Him who controls all things to save His elect. I’m delighted to be a part of His mission with Vienny and Clark on this trip.

The message was titled, REVIVAL, and Zecharia 13:1-5 showed us that revival:

1. Washes away sin and uncleanness

2. Is God given

3. Makes us hate false gospels

4. Makes us humbly stick to Scripture

Many stood up and testified that this is the true gospel, and they will not turn from it. I’m excited to go back in July.

In the city, we also had tremendous times of refreshing as the gospel came in power. Two large churches opened their doors to us for 4 different messages. Here is a link to each one.

This widow woman in green opened her home and gave me a bed, lamp, and food (we’ll work on a table), like the Shunammite [2 Kings 4:8-10]. I have a home away from home.

Please pray with us for these people in Northern Nigeria. Kaduna City is safe, but the villages are subject to attacks, kidnappings, and other severe persecutions for rejecting Islam.
