I can hardly believe we are already saying that half of 2019 is completely over with as of the end of today. What a wonderful 6 months God has given to us here at the church. Souls have been saved, baptized, and are faithfully serving in the church. We are fully occupying the addition and we are just waiting on the finish coat on the parking lot for it to be complete. Praise the Lord for everything the He has accomplished through the church while we remain faithful to Him.
We must continue to remember that it is God that meets every need are we serve Him. It is wonderful to see the results of our labor but do not forget that our walk with Him is of utmost importance. It is the greatest desire of my heart for every believer to be faithful to Christ, His Word, and His Church. God is doing great things here in Concord and I am eternally grateful to God and each of you for your love for His work.
We are coming up on Junior Camp a week from tomorrow and then teen camp in August. Please be making plans for the young people to attend. I know it will be a spiritual and life-changing time for them. Each one of them need this time to focus on the Word of God and allow God to work in their lives. I am praying that God would do great things through these special weeks coming up.
