We want to look at the benefits, we receive, of Labour in the Kingdom of God and the Church of Jesus Christ.

1. The Working\Gospel Labouring Church rejoices as it shares in the Lord’s work.
Read Luke 24: 46-53
Verse 52 “Great Joy”
Great = GK = Megas
From which we get the word Mega!
Someone has said;
“Joy is the byproduct of obedience.”

2. There is the special joy of seeing sinners saved and backsliders brought back into fellowship with the Lord.

“Joy in Heaven”
Is it not amazing to think that something that happens on earth can cause joy in heaven!

3. Gospel Labour in the Assembly leads to a sense of the Importance of the local church.

4. The Working\Gospel labouring Church will find its prayer meeting greatly blessed.

Note, for the first time the church understood the import of psalm 2.

5. The working\gospel labouring church will inevitably have a greater hunger for the word of God.

6. The working church will be blessed with a rising generation of faithful believers.
Often what turns the young away is that they do not see real life or activity in the church.

8. The working church by its very nature will set itself apart from compromising and worldly churches.
