Pastor Steve shares these links to stimulate some Thursday Thoughts…

Cars, Coffee, Theology – Caffeinated Conversations with Thoughtful People … Dr. Jonathan Pennington has started an interesting video blog. The first episode is with Tom Schreiner, New Testament Scholar and I found it to be very interesting. Give it a look HERE!

Tortured for Christ – the Voice of the Martyrs production, a cinematic retelling of the testimony of Pastor Richard Wurmbrand. This movie was produced to honor the 50thanniversary of the book’s 1967 release (a copy of the book is available in the Grace Library). Gather the family and watch if for free HERE. You might also consider a donation to support Voice of the Martyrs.

Lectio Continua (Latin: continuous reading) – Josh Buice writes: “If the church today will indeed see a revival—it will be based on a firm commitment to God’s Word rather than the shallowness of man-centered gimmicks. We need a return to the lectio continua approach to reading and preaching that will cause the church to gain massive theological growth. Those old paths were walked once before and it brought great results. May the Lord be pleased to do it again.” You can read the rest HERE.
