Must progress in the First Floor Restrooms has occurred, and now it is time for the boring things: electric and plumbing. An electrical inspector will be coming on Tuesday so that the restrooms can go live and the plumber should get some things started.
In the meantime, Ed and Lewis are outside working on the lintels, as shown in the picture of a window in the "Renovations update - June" album. The beam (or lintel) that holds up the bricks above the windows are all original from the 1950s and are in bad shape. Ed removes two rows of bricks and replaces it with a new piece of steel. High scaffolding is required for many of the windows, requiring hours just to build and move the scaffolding.
Once the plumber and electrician get some things done, Ed and Lewis can move inside again.
