1. Of all the times on earth most sweet,

‘Tis when the saints together meet;

To hear the gospel of free grace,

And mercies to Jehovah trace.

2. O let us sing with one accord,

And glorify our sovereign Lord;

Exalt and magnify His Name;

His worthy praises now proclaim.

3. Lord bless Thy servants, we beseech,

As they to us of Jesus preach;

We love the precious, gospel Word,

The sweetest message ever heard.

4. May Christ alone be magnified,

Who for our sin was crucified;

He is the Lord our Righteousness,

Who saved us from our sinfulness.

5. Lord, as we listen to Thy Word,

O may our stubborn hearts be stirred;

Show us that we are sinful dust,

And grant that we on Christ may trust.

“And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast: The same came therefore to Philip,

which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him,

saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.” John 12:20 -21

Beloved of God, every year we gather together at the end of July for our Annual Sovereign Grace Bible Conference. We come together to worship and praise our great sovereign God and King, and we count this an honor and a privilege.

Each year we ask two faithful gospel preachers to come and preach to us the unsearchable riches of Christ and to proclaim the gospel of God's free and Sovereign grace in Christ.

This is a time of sweet fellowship for our church family and for visiting brethren as we gather together in the unity of the gospel to hear about our wonderful merciful savior; the Lord Jesus Christ!

May this time as we gather together, in this oasis, away from the cares and troubles of this world, be a time of refreshing and encouragement for the blood bought saints of God! May God receive all the glory, honor and praise through the preaching of the Word this weekend.

Our charge to the visiting preachers is, as the Greeks proclaimed to Philip in John chapter 12:21, "Sir, we would see Jesus."
