“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.” (Isaiah 54:17)

To those for whom the LORD Jesus Christ paid the debt, there is therefore now NO CONDEMNATION, Romans 8:1: The reason that there is no weapon formed against God’s child or the Church of His elect collectively, is the eternal Love of God in Christ that has separated them out in eternal Grace, whose salvation the LORD Jesus Christ accomplished at the cross, and who, in time, the Spirit of God does call to Christ and seal forever as His, Romans 8:38-39.

Christ is building His Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it, Matthew 16:18: Isaiah wrote, “every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.”It’s not just that the Church is passive in weathering the storm of opposition or persecution, but that the world and all its enemies stand condemned in judgment. Although enemies may be stirred up and gathered together to battle the LORD God Almighty and His church, they will not succeed but will be overcome and slain in the end and the beast and false prophet (human government and false works religion) will be taken and cast alive into the lake of fire with Satan himself, Revelation 20:10.
