When Was Justification Obtained and Finished? 1. “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost ” (John 19:30 )
When was it finished? On the cross at Calvary almost 2000 years ago.
2. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by His blood, Romans 5:9 .
When did this happen? Answer: at Calvary on the Cross around 33 AD.
3. ”Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.” Hebrews 9:12 ) When did this happen? Answer: at the resurrection of our LORD, around 33 AD.
4. “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21 )When did this happen? On the cross at Calvary around the year 33 AD.
