It is indeed noble to try to get everyone in one’s family into a place of worship. But if that family member or acquaintance is hearing a message of “Do and live,” hearing and adhering to such a message is no better for them than any other who has never darkened the door of a church building. Under such preaching, one either wrongly believes that they can by their own obedience please God and be accepted by Him, or they know that they are unable to keep the law of God and are without hope.

If you ask the average person on the street, or congregant, what a person must do to be saved, most will tell you that if they keep the ten commandments and follow the golden rule, they will get to Heaven. They don’t need religion to tell them that. But that is not the Gospel at all. It is a “Do and live” message.
