As a Youth Pastor, I was really nervous to watch this hoping that one of my influences condemn my calling and profession (i.e., Voddie Baucham would put me out of a job!). I am thankful for this discussion and Pastor Wilson’s stance. I tell the parents of my students that I am the 6th man in family discipleship. Much of youth ministry excludes parental responsibility and overlooks the need to minister and empower the parents who instruct their children. I’m the back-up and added voice to what already should be established in the home.
