In an attempt to bring the Truth to Light we have begun the Truth Project at Zion. This wonderful study was developed by "Focus on the Family" with the intent of helping people develop a Biblical worldview. The Truth Project is a DVD-based small group curriculum comprised of 12 one-hour lessons taught by Dr. Del Tackett. This study is the starting point for looking at life from a Biblical perspective. Each lesson discusses in great detail the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life.
We began the Truth Project Study with the Senior High youth group last Monday and it was warmly received. Then this morning we had our first Truth Project presentation for the congregation. Next week we continue the series with the second presentation titled, "Philosophy and Ethics: Says Who?". Please join us at 8:45 am in Grace Chapel. Bring a Bible, a notepad, and a friend!
This Fall we hope to offer several Truth Projects at a variety of times so that every member can attend. We will also be extending an invitation to the community to join us at that time.
