Life Before Death, Is There?
A lot of people will say of course there is life
before death, we are not dead yet. However to
some, life may only be an existence, one can have
an existence and not have life. The Lord Jesus
said that if people’s minds are taken up with worldly
things then they are dead.
Rev. Ken Elliott examines these areas of life
before death under three main headings.
1. HOW CLEARLY LIFE IS DISCERNED
i) It is not only our physical life but our spiritual
life.
ii) The life of God in a man will affect his outlook,
motivation and relationship.
iii) Life will be satisfying. Everlasting life
is satisfying
2. LIFE IS PROVIDED GRACIOUSLY
i) It is found at a church that preaches the gospel
of Christ.
ii) It is provided only in the Lord Jesus Christ.
3. LIFE IS PROVIDED ATTRACTIVELY
i) It is provided more abundantly
ii) It is the new birth which is spiritual and
everlasting
iii) By getting involved you can achieve an abundant
life
