We live in a world that have values that we find very askew. We ought to be Christians in the world around us! We are in the house of the Lord, our children go to different schools. We are those whom God has predestinated in Christ unto His pleasure and unto HIS praise. That is our calling! We must walk as children who are IN the LIGHT!

We (negatively) warn ourselves to point us to the positive. As the Jews were told not to walk like they use to walk, so we know the admonition. So today the world "beats to a different drum" around us. It is everywhere around us. They work in the vanity of their own mind. We are talking about their entire disposition in this life. In every aspect they try to run God our of existence and pursue "happiness" even though they will never attain it! It is all vanity and vexation of Spirit and they walk having their understanding darkened. They are slaves to sin.

"But you have learned Christ!" Paul testified in the Lord! (Stood before Christ who has justified and sanctified you to walk in the ways of the Lord!) How did we learn Christ? As we walk in this society the Word of God tells us the ways of this world is NOT how we LEARNED Christ. It is NOT what we know! How did God by His Spirit reveal Himself unto us in Christ? We know the methods (in our teaching) but personally....how did Christ push us to His bosom? We wrap our lives around Him because He wrapped HIS LIFE around US!!! We are children of the LIGHT! We have learned Christ by comprehending the Light of God in Him! The world is blind and deaf because He has not revealed Himself to them...and though we are no better than them, He has wiped the scales from our eyes and given us faith so that we can see! The world lives and dies and that is the end of all things, but we are given night vision and clarity of mind.

Two things become apparent. First, that the world is devoid of the truth and grope around on a path to destruction without even knowing it. There is a blindness and hardness where they refuse to believe the truth. It is a matter of faith! The emptiness will be God's wrath. Secondly, we have purpose in life as we see clearly. How have we learned Christ? We know there is a heaven and a hell that cannot touch us. We know there is a Kingdom and we are part of that Kingdom and even though there are clouds some days, battles, and burdens to bear, we continue to GLORY!

We walk in LIGHT and have fellowship with one another. He forgives our sins and are one in endeavor and we have the joys of walking in Light together until that day in perfection where God is the LIGHT!
