A dear friend of ours took exception to my comments about the rapture, made on May 3, 2017. She suggested several passages of Scripture that prove Jesus will come before the Tribulation and rescue His own people from trouble.

I have studied this issue for years, and wanted to respond to this dear saint, whose very name means "miracle." And such has been her life.

There are many many who agree with her position, and many, many who do not. I have no desire to be divisive, but in the accompanying recdording for today, I have responded to the Scriptures she brought up.

Only two passages identify the TIME when Jesus comes. Matthew 24 says "AFTER the tribulation," and II Thessalonians 2 says AFTER the antichrist. All the other passages merely talk about the fact of His coming, but do not specify a time. One brings his own ideas into those texts. This is not good Bible exegesis, in my opinion.

I encourage you to listen to today's recording, "Come Up Here, John." I think at least you will go away with something more to think about.

Just for the record, I have no desire to continue this discusssion after today. So much more in the Word of God that needs our attention!
