Effects of the Word of God
Dr. David Allen from the Trinitarian Bible Society joined us at Bethany this morning. He gives a summary of the work the TBS is involved in, with examples on each of the three areas i) Translation of the Word of God ii) Distribution of the Word of God iii) Stance on the authorised version of the bible (KJV) Dr. David Allen then looks at three effects of the Word of God 1. IT IS A LIVING WORD It creates life, and is everlasting. 2. IT IS A POWERFUL WORD More powerful than any two edged sword, he that has my Word let him preach it. 3. IT IS AN EFFECTUAL WORD It cuts, it penetrates, it is never lost and will not return void.
