The road to Heaven is not by your good works, keeping the golden rule, joining church or getting baptized. As good as some of these are, none of it will take you to Heaven. You could quit cursing, lying, cheating, and all other sins, but still die and go to Hell. Jesus said in John 3:7 “Marvel not that I said unto thee, ye must be born again.” It’s repent or perish, turn or burn, Heaven or Hell, saved or lost! There is no neutral ground. You are headed up or down and there is no in-between.

Some have misunderstood and think living a good life or turning over a new leaf will save, but it will not. It’s not a new leaf, but a new life in Christ you need. Jesus said, “Ye must be born again.” That is not reformation, but transformation. John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Jesus is not a way, but the way, and the only way!

The Word of God says in Matthew 7:13-14, “Enter ye in at the strait gate (narrow gate): for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”
