Enterprise-grade equipment is expensive. We need your help.
The quote that we received from two separate vendors for the servers, switches, storage arrays needed to operate SermonAudio was in the neighborhood of $650k. The other $350k is factoring in the connectivity that will be required in the ongoing bandwidth expenses. This is where we get our $1M goal. We understand this is a tough goal but we're in it for the long haul and we will simply acquire the equipment as we are able.
I want you to understand just how miraculous this is. In an age of virtual machines and remote everything, these are real bare metal servers that we're setting up. This is what it takes to protect sermons in this CANCEL CULTURE age.
