We sustained a cyberattack this week that took down one of our servers hard. As a result, we had to shutter some of the more legacy features of the site. It’s been a very trying week, but we are finally climbing out of the hole. Amidst all the destruction, we didn't lose a single sermon. I’m thankful for God’s mercies.
Some things that I failed to mention in the video was the fact that the attack occurred on an aging corner of our infrastructure which we were hoping to decommission when moving to The Vault. It should be noted that all infrastructure that we construct in The Vault will be based on newer tech and will greatly help us in the fight against this sort of thing happening again.
Also, in God's good providence, the week this attack occurred also "happened" to be the same week our senior tech was more available to help than usual. It could have been much worse but thankfully God allowed only as much as we could handle.
This VLOG is documenting our journey on a bold new project with BJU where we will be constructing THE VAULT, an almost 4000-sqft space on the school campus.
