This brief video gives you a first look at The Vault @ BJU. Keep in mind that the construction crews are just beginning and so it doesn't look like much but we're excited all the same as this conversation with BJU began almost two years ago.

The Vault will eventually house our own fleet of servers and storage arrays and be operated completely in-house so that we will not need to depend on the infrastructure of cloud platforms. Having all sermons physically within reach is absolutely a safeguard in preserving the seed of the preached Word. But beyond that, we will also be taking a step in protecting the church's voice online when it becomes popular to de-platform offensive messages.

This is a monumental project and will take us far outside our comfort zone and far beyond our financial ability. In singular answer to prayer, God has provided a donor for the construction of the $400k space, but the equipment alone will approach $1M. This is why the cloud providers are so powerful. It is cost-prohibitive to try to create it ourselves. But I believe this to be important enough to attempt. The Lord doesn't need us, but I believe He can use us. I want to prove the Lord in this moment. Pray that God will give us the skills, the finances, the manpower, and the spiritual sensitivity to know how to move forward on all of this. If God is in it, He will make a way. If not, then may it fall to the ground.
