President Donald Trump early Jan. 7 promised there would be an orderly transition on Jan. 20, while vowing to continue to fight to better America.
“Even though I totally disagree with the outcome of the election, and the facts bear me out, nevertheless there will be an orderly transition on January 20th. I have always said we would continue our fight to ensure that only legal votes were counted,” Trump said in a statement.
“While this represents the end of the greatest first term in presidential history, it’s only the beginning of our fight to Make America Great Again!”...
Dr. Sexton's comments from Temple Baptist's Wednesday night prayer service, which occurred shortly after the riot at the Capitol was put down, really put things into perspective. Again, I was quite edified and encouraged. I hope and pray you will be as well: tinysa.com/sermon/1721310496513
For all the terms and accusations being thrown around, it may well be that the Democrats are guilty of sedition to overthrow the President! In an Isaiah 59 world, nothing is as it seems and certainly not what MSM says it is.
Setting that rancor aside, I was truly edified today by SA's weekly email & daily posting that encouraged readers to pray. I was particularly edified by the highlighted video from Dr. Clarence Sexton.

Censorship of the president by left wingnut social media. Wonder who they’ll censor next? Maybe mayors and governors of places where actual rioters burn buildings, “peaceful demonstrators” cordon off whole sections of cities with armed guards, invade and occupy police stations and federal buildings, attack people passing by, etc.? Nah, that’s their right to peaceable assembly, and you can’t take away their free speech, don’t you know.
Bridget Judd wrote: Twitter has permanently suspended the account of US President Donald Trump, citing the "risk of further incitement of violence" following a riot at the Capitol that left a police officer dead. Key points:
• In a statement, Twitter said the language used by Mr Trump could be interepreted as "support for those committing violent acts" • It said plans for future armed protests had begun profliferating "on and off Twitter" • Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat temporarily locked the President's accounts shortly after the Capitol riot
In a statement, released just one day after the President's account was reinstated following a 12-hour freeze, the social media giant said it had undertaken a close review of Mr Trump's tweets, "specifically how they are being received and interpreted on and off Twitter"....

The above is an interesting article by Reuters. Apparently some of the aides of Trump persuaded him to take a more reasoned approach to what he was confronting.
Hmm, great minds think alike, The Wall Street Journal and I agreed that Trump should resign and he could make a lot of problems for himself disappear.

Mike, well actually Trump has a lot to worry about, but depending on how the Democrats go about it, he may have less to worry about because they'll irritate the Republicans in the Senate. The best thing that Mr Trump has going for is he's only got about 13 days left in office
AP wrote: US President Donald Trump said he will not be attending President-elect Joe Biden's Inauguration on January 20, undercutting his message a day earlier that he would work to ensure a "smooth, orderly and seamless transition of power" to his successor. Key points:
• Donald Trump will become the first US President since Andrew Johnson in 1869 to not attend his successor's inauguration • He did not elaborate or offer any clues on how he would spend his final hours in office • Traditionally, the incoming and outgoing presidents ride to the US Capitol together for the ceremony

Mike, what a person gets when they're doing something illegal may not be what they deserve, but she shouldn't have been there in the first place. The policeman who got killed, however, was legally obliged to be there.
Yes, I agree with you on that point about Mr Trump.

No pardon is needed, Jim. All the false accusations you and your fellow Orcs make are just so much noise, as they have been for 5 years. You think rightly that Trump is a proud man. Now try to listen to yourself to hear deeper pride.
Ps, the only carnage committed in the recent events was committed by the “protectors of democracy” on a female 14 year veteran. What did she do to deserve death, Jim? Wake up and smell the stuff you sling.
Alternate plan, Jim: how does Trump literally nuking DC from orbit sound? After a sufficient time for an evacuation, of course. Wouldn't want the radiation to turn the lobbyists, plutocrats, and administrators into literal swamp creatures.
If Trump means what he says, then he should resign and turn the presidency over to Mike Pence❗👍
