A Chinese Pattern Emerges: First Fentanyl, Now Coronavirus
There are people in China and America, some with connections to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, who are upset with reports that the coronavirus is linked to the lab. They want to blame President Trump for a plague unleashed by China. But it turns out there are many controversial labs in Wuhan. Some ‚Äústudy‚ÄĚ viruses. Some produce fentanyl.
A fascinating article in the Los Angeles Times reveals that before Wuhan became known for a virus killing tens of thousands of people, it was the main source of fentanyl, described as the deadliest drug to ever hit U.S. streets, which is also killing tens of thousands of people. Datelined Mexico City, the Los Angeles Times article began, ‚ÄúFor drug traffickers interested in getting in on the fentanyl business, all roads once led to Wuhan.‚ÄĚ It reported, ‚ÄúVendors there shipped huge quantities around the world. The biggest customers were Mexican drug cartels, which...

It's been month after month after ‚ÄĒ or at least week after week after week of this. The curve is flat, but it's not going down. The death rate is hellacious. The people who model these things are raising their estimates of how many people are going to die. So, we're just not winning. And, someday, we will get to the point where opening up seems to me a smart strategy. But I personally don't see the evidence of that, looking at the data. And neither do people who know a lot more about this than me, the health experts. ....And, frankly, the American people seem to me a little premature. Over the last week, even as the health data continues to be terrible, people are loosening. The travel is up. Gathering this up. And so I think, just as fellow citizens, we have got to try to hang in there a little longer, until we can get some sense of a better sense of control, some sense of a downward slope, which we just do not see right now....

No name, the German government has done much better than the United States one. For that matter so has New Zealand and Australia. though, https://tinyurl.com/ycmgblom (You can't compare': New Zealand looks on Australia's loose lockdown with envy ‚Äď and horror)
But even if China didn't do anything on purpose on the first two issues, they should still be punished for general sloppiness

ūüĎćūüŹĹ tell em! The worldist are trying to level the playing field but thankfully trumps tryna get the economy running again
China is in a position where it can completely ruin our economy. Therefore whatever truths these politicians note will go nowhere. Generally speaking as long as a politician says something they are deemed successful.
A communist country as we all know doesn’t care about the lives of their citizens. Their leader is now a dictator, so he has nothing to lose.
The below is from the article:
‚ÄúThe Chinese government is the world‚Äôs largest drug dealer,‚ÄĚ says Senator Tom Cotton. ‚ÄúChina has allowed fentanyl and other synthetic opioids to pour into the United States for years, killing tens of thousands of Americans.‚ÄĚ Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer agrees, saying, ‚ÄúWe must hold China, currently the world‚Äôs largest producer of illicit fentanyl, accountable for its role in the trade of this deadly drug.‚ÄĚ Their Fentanyl Sanctions Act was included in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2020.

National Geographic had a fairly long article on the interaction between opioids and the covid-19 pandemic. It almost looks like this addicted group mirrors some conservative ones‚ĚóūüĎé
Lois Parshley wrote: .... .... Amid widespread strains on the health-care system, the United States remains in an overdose crisis‚ÄĒmore than two million Americans use opioids, and half a million use meth every week. A staggering 46,000 Americans died of overdoses in 2018. While COVID-19 has a disproportionate impact on various vulnerable populations, people with drug addictions are facing unique challenges in response to COVID-19.
Among those challenges, people who use drugs are more likely to be alienated from traditional news sources, and so are not as likely to hear information about risks and best practices during a pandemic. Some users also are skeptical of authority due to previous interactions with law enforcement, and they distrust the government’s health advisories.... [ ]

Not sure how Nivevah relates to Wohan. The book of Nahum was written more than 100 years after the book of Jonah. The book of Jonah indicates the entire city (3:5-10) repented and turned to God, so that would put that population in heaven. Even our Lord said the men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment and condemn those that lived in His day.
Nineveh had received the word of God under the preaching by Jonah it had come to repentance Jonah 3:5-9 but within a hundred to hundred fifty years returned to its rebellious and pagan ways. Our modern western society as done much the same, forsaking God, His Word and large parts of professing Christianity has corrupted the gospel to a health, wealth and happiness message.
If Covid 19 as taught us anything its for Church and state to return to the old paths of true religion taught in Gods Word and to forsake the man centred and man pleasing religion passing its self of as Christianity today. But we also instead of tearing each other apart on these pages need also to humble ourselves before the Lord and repent of our own sinful nature and attitudes towards Brethren, any unbeliever viewing some of the threads on here could only concluded "see how these Christians hate each other".
