Cory Booker asks Trump judicial nominee if she believes gay relationships are a 'sin'
The 49-year-old Booker didn’t mince words during the confirmation hearing for judicial nominee Neomi Rao about his disapproval with the Trump administration's push to end Obama's practice of awarding contracts to employers and nonprofit organizations that have sexual orientation and gender identity anti-discrimination policies. The Obama-era policy likewise banned contracts from being awarded to companies that didn't have LGBT policies.

Booker asked Rao, who was appointed to fill the D.C. appellate court judgeship left vacant by the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh last year, whether she personally thinks gay relationships are “immoral.” ...

Some in the Indian Community have some questions about her .

What religion, if any, is she?

Mike Lofgren wrote:
The self-pitying, pessimistic conservatism that is now fashionable theorizes that because a majority of Americans might disagree with its tenets, that majority is morally corrupted and the American experiment has failed. This corrosive negativity is one reason I left the GOP.

I am a strong critic of America’s politics, but I am confident our problems can be redressed with good faith and the will to succeed. This assumption that the country is condemned to decline is based not on evidence, but on the schadenfreude that some people enjoy in fantasizing that their pessimism will be validated.

It is a curiously unremarked oddity that beneath the aggrandizing, tough-guy swagger of the Trumps, Limbaughs and O’Reillys, today’s conservatives are a swooning passel of neurotics who see every temporary setback, every cultural trend they disapprove of and every social change that most humane people would call progress, as evidence that America is inevitably doomed.

""Booker responded: “So you are not willing to say here whether you believe it is sinful for two men to be married?""

The correct answer is 'Yes it is' - According to God who wrote the Bible.

Beyond that the question then enters the realm of religious freedom AND freedom of speech.

A discussion then pursuing religious theology has nothing to do with this situation.

Clearly Booker is not Christian and anti-Christian in his ideology. But that brings the debate into the realm of freedom of speech according to your personal commitments.

Secular world trying (like China) to rule the tenets of Biblical Christianity???

Eph 4:17 ... in the vanity of their mind,
18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness."

Let’s argue that this lady actually believes that homosexuality is sinful. That means what she said below is like most cultural Christians who will lie and cheat to gain their purpose. They refer to it as the greater good and actually believe that is true. But see Romans 3:8 below.

Romans 3:8 And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.

“After reluctantly responding that she did not think gay relationships were immoral,”

Matthew 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. 34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Luke 9:26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.

Scriptures tell us to avoid men who come to us with their endless geneologies....."But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain." Titus 3:9

dipsensationalism is based on this foundation.

do you not know when you take on people groups into your religious fold that are not CHristians you take on their religions?

is this not Solomon did? did not the hebrews of old get told by God not to bring in foreign gods into their religion?

is there no shame?

Seared conscience, that's why it's impossible to explain normal things to them. God has handed them over to their own lust

Wasn't it Trump who was waving a rainbow flag while he was campaigning for the office to begin with? ...maybe this is why there is some confusion as to his stance

The Lord said the gates of Hell shall not prevail against His church. He told His disciples in the world you shall have tribulation but to be of good cheer for He had overcome the world.

The Bible clearly teaches that men will become more evil in the last days (II Timothy 3:1-13; Matthew 24) that it would reflect the days of Noah which Scripture tells us that every imagination of the heart of man was only evil continually.

So, when I see all these things coming pass, although they are a cause of grief, it is a mere realization of the truth of Scripture and the blackness of the heart of man.

In penned’s theology it is the fault of Christian conspiracies, carnality in the church,, and misguided eschatological teaching. Christians are to blame for everything, and the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is an utter failure. You can can have that theology as far as I am concerned, glad by the grace of God I am not part of it

until Christians can name the lobby that has the political and judicial power to bring lgbt (and now p) into every aspect of society.... they will keep it coming....

and there's nothing the prez can do.

its a spiritual battle within the evangelical churches themselves.

the military hand of spiritual sodom.

giving legitimacy while their male children come home in dresses.

soemthing is askew.

and where is the shame?

the SBC and the PCA -- and revoice and big money come to play. denominations splitting in half?

and when jmac is interviewed by shapiro his greatest concern is smashing down "antis..."

no one can name the lobby.

they will be labelled.

though they worked with the previous admin and brought g marriage to the world as a contractional obligation in order to buy and sell with this nation.

drip drip drip of articles, where's the leadership? CHrist said, "You will be my Ambassadors"... for His Kingdom.

pastors, who bend the knee for spiritual sodom and then blame the democrats. the democrats.... are the judgment.

The only “sins” Democrats recognize are intolerance of sexual perversion and opposition to murdering babies.
