Chick-fil-A Manager Stops Service To Pray for Employee Having Surgery for Breast Cancer
Ms. Trish, works in the dining room at the Chick-fil-A in Belmont, NC and had been diagnosed with breast cancer. On Friday afternoon, she was scheduled for surgery.

Around her surgery time, her co-workers paused what they were doing to say a little prayer for Ms. Trish. They invited any of the Chick-fil-A patrons inside the store at the time the opportunity to join in. Some were waiting in line. Others were enjoying their meal.

It did not matter what they were doing, because everyone, staff member, visitor, man, woman, child, inside the restaurant bowed their heads in silence as the prayer for Ms. Trish was offered up. ...

"...I have read about soda being a cure all for things. Maybe they are going back to old remedies now."

Hi there, Dolores. I'll say that we have lost the God-given art of natural healing, using all that He freely provided and is still readily available, and at our disposal in nature. Big pharma have sent their scouts to all four corners of this Earth in search of native healers and local, 100% natural compounds used that are proven to heal. They've taken these elements from nature, and synthesized them, by adding their own toxic elements as a result and convincing a world that the all natural apothecary potions of old are dangerous, and not to be peddled or meddled with by the ignorant and not to be used without the all powerful FDA stamp of approval. I truly believe that the more recent physical and mental illnesses are environmental and products of additives, and various outdoor preventative sprays, etc. Most are not aware that many big pharma drugs are plant derivitaves which speaks to the healing properties of nature that they have turned into the most lucrative business on planet Earth...perscription drugs. I also get that there are many natural charlaitains as well, hawking their junk while making wild claims of their healing properties.

When I got sick as a kid, my mom gave me a spoonful of castor oil. Cure all for every disease even when the doctor came and gavel me other meds?!!. And even when I had pneumonia she still tried to hide it in orange juice because by then I had started refusing to take it no way!! They had a lot of remedies back then that I even used on my kids, minus the castor oil. sometimes.

Mom and her 9 siblings lived long lives and her parents lived to be in their 80s.I have read about soda being a cure all for things. Maybe they are going back to old remedies now.🤭

Thanks brother for that helpful site, and for the article. I went on to read the article about the ketogenic diet and was greatly encouraged, because that is the diet I am working on at the present time and slowly losing weight through. I have blood tests in three weeks to see if I have got triglycerides level down through diet, and if not, my GP wants to put me on statins. Well, I've lost around eight pounds in as many weeks, but unfortunately I can't monitor the triglyceride level or cholesterol, so I just hope they are both lowering.

I never had any of this when I was seventeen!

When you get your degree in medical science, which you choose to disdain (which is why I say you share your opinion) then I will give your thoughts credibility. If you were simply trying to help as you said then a suggestion to check out the benefits of baking soda in dealing with breast cancer would have sufficed

US, I know you believe deeply in your evolutionary based chemical model.

there are generations that grew up before DNA was even discovered!!

remember, the original evolutionists believed in spontaneous generation. that the maggots in the food generated from the food and air or whatever.

that is the chemical model and so all Pasteur could do when he discovered microbiology was burn it, kill it off.

now they know the human biome is made up of foreign organisms.

so antibiotics not only kill off the infection but also the good flora that digests food and produces hormones.

the chemical model is obsolete but should Darwin ever have been the basis of our view of the human body and healing?

come to find out, it was all about the money?....

wow.

just gave a solution that would save many women from getting their body parts removed and damaged by chemo.

and you see that as being negative?

the cancer industry is a multimillion dollar cult.

So Jose m, was Paul wrong to offer up s pray on a ship in front of a crew of unsaved men? Was the Lord wrong to publicly pray at the feeding of the 5000? Was Solomon wrong to pray at the dedication of the Temple?

Here we have a good thing and you choose to offer nit picky criticism? :shake head:

I do have to put in a little sarcasm here. Chick-fil-A is so holy! Is their chicken kosher?

It does remind me of a Bible verse though,

Matthew 6:5
And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward.---ESV

Now the staff may very well have been sincere in their prayer. But many of the people that came in to eat may have very well did it from social pressure rather than thinking it was a good idea.

Of course if all the eating at Chick-fil-A is a communion service, I guess you can ignore what I said.
