Are Christians in military really a 'national security threat'?
On this Memorial Day, we honor those who have died serving our country. We thank God for their sacrifice. And we stand in solidarity with all those in the military. We’re grateful for their service to our country.
Unfortunately, this is also a perfect time for the mainstream media to spew propaganda against Christian influence in the military. We’ve gotten used to this by now, because propaganda is vital to the health of today’s radical, anti-God, secular revolution.
Hitler wrote in “Mein Kampf,” “By clever and persevering use of propaganda even heaven can be presented as hell to the people, and conversely the most wretched life as paradise.”
A few decades later, Saul Alinsky wrote in “Rules for Radicals,” “If you push a negative hard enough it will eventually push through to become a positive.”
"Throughout history, brave LGBT Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Coast Guardsmen have served and fought for our Nation. Their readiness and willingness to serve.." May 25, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) — The U.S. Army Surgeon General and Commanding General of the Army Medical Command has sent out a memo urging “each member of the Army Medical Team” to celebrate “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month” in June.
The “unclassified” memo, was sent out Wednesday morning by Army Surgeon General Lt. Gen. Nadja West and Command Sergeant Major Gerald C. Ecker.
“Throughout history, brave LGBT Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Coast Guardsmen have served and fought for our Nation. Their readiness and willingness to serve have made our military stronger and our Nation safer,” the DoD memo states. “We continue to take great pride in all that our LGBT men and women contribute to Army Medicine and our mission.”
The memo continues the Obama policy of praising the 1969 homosexual anti-police riots at a “gay bar” in New York City (the Stonewall Inn)
Wikipedia wrote: Despite being a regular churchgoer, York also drank heavily, and was prone to fistfights. After a 1914 conversion experience, he vowed to improve, and became even more devoted to the Church of Christ in Christian Union....
York was drafted during World War I; he initially claimed conscientious objector status on the grounds that his denomination forbade violence. Persuaded that his religion was not incompatible with military service, York joined the 82nd Division as an infantry private, and went to France in 1918. In October 1918, as a newly promoted corporal, York was one of a group of 17 soldiers assigned to infiltrate German lines and silence a machine gun position. After the American patrol had captured a large group of enemy soldiers, German small arms fire killed six Americans and wounded three. York was the highest ranking of those still able to fight, so he took charge. While his men guarded the prisoners, York attacked the machine gun position, dispatching several German soldiers with his rifle. By the time six Germans charged him with bayonets he was out of rifle ammunition, so he drew his pistol and shot them all....
Ronald Reagan said, “Within the pages of the Bible are answers for all the problems men face.”
A “fundamentalist/Dominionist bully,” too? A Christian faith is a “national security threat.” To those building Unbridled Sodom - Capital New Babel - truth is a threat to the revised U.S.
US military just last week issued a proclamation celebrating sodomy and perversion-TRUTH threatens lies
To say faith in the military today is a national security threat spits in the face of past great leaders,& countless others who have helped shape our great nation because their Christian faith influenced them.
“Mein Kempf” & “Rules for Radicals” will burn in the ash heap of history, but God’s Word, lived out through faithful believers, will stand forever. So may God bless America. And may He forever keep His hand in the fabric of every institution of our nation, especially our military.
The book upon which our elected leaders swear oaths of office says, “Where the spirit of the Lord is there is freedom” (2 Corinthians 2:17).
Christianity is not a forcing religion but a freeing relationship.
Christian influence not only leads to freedom in the soul but also flourishing in society, Pr14:34 "Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people."
Just thought of this - could it be that the liberal mindset insists on absolute adherance to that ideal no matter the Constitution or other laws? It then comes down to control - will the military stand for or against the direction of the country? They want absolute control of every source of power in the country. It is as if they fear a coup, which just goes to show how much they don't understand the U.S. military.
they seem concerned that obamas purge is being reversed.
Christian men mean good character...
how can they then use the troops for their nefarious purposes?
see what happened to M Flyn....
a man who deserves respect and who spoke of the ISIS connections directly to our leaders.... a truth teller in the year of disclosure so that God's people could have understanding....
then what happened to Seth Rich? many indications that before he was found murdered he was the DNC leaker... they were really that corrupt?
which would mean that the "intervening in US elections by hacking the DNC by Russians" was really a corrupt DNC being revealed for what they are... of all the corruption to have come out, they have never claimed the emails to me wrong. WikiLeaks has never been proven wrong.
in other words, keep the American eyes off the corruption revealed in those emails by prosecuting the truth tellers.
they need globalist minions that believe their Orwellian narratives....
besides which, in the end, they really are plain antichrist...
cultural Marxism aims to remove all influences of Christ in society, leads to persecution....and martyrdom.
This is such an insightful article. Read Romans 1 for clear window on what our Sovereign Lord is allowing to happen. Verse 21 days "... They became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened."
Born again Christians are a threat, and potentially dangerous, because the bible we believe in, the living words of the living God, condemns the ways and lifestyles of those who call us a danger to society. Christians...a threat to national security? Quite interesting when the very same people who claim this, refer to Islam as a religion of peace as they fight for open borders to allow those, who very openly swear death to America, in to disappear.
Christians have a long history of military service. There Christians in the Roman Army: Countering the Pacifist Narrative be in a streak of pacifism throughout the centuries, but that hasn't stopped the common Christian from supporting his country or Empire for that matter. A detailed and interesting article.
It all depends on the definition of "national security" one uses. If Christians are dangerous to one's way of life because their mere presence says that lifestyle and behaviors are wrong, then that person's security is at risk. But the reality of the situation is that the military was the one of the last strongholds of conservatives left in the U.S. The Obama Administration attacked those underpinnings, as have a number of Administrations previously, but Obama was quite vigorous. And the U.S. will crumble like Israel and Judah of old.
