Obama dubbed 'most powerful enemy' of helpless babies
The House of Representatives passed two pro-life bills on Friday, one to freeze funding for Planned Parenthood pending a thorough investigation and the other to uphold the rights of babies who survive attempted abortions.
He said opposition to his bill from Obama and scores of other Democrats exposes the rank hypocrisy of many in the pro-choice movement.
"For years, the abortion industry has tried to make us separate unborn children and born children in our minds," Franks said. "On the one hand, they said the born child is protectable but the unborn child isn't worthy of protection. Now they're in the unenviable position of trying to rejoin these babies by saying neither of them are persons and neither of them are worthy of protection."
