A memorial stone for Christian author and apologist CS Lewis was unveiled in Westminster Abbey’s Poets’ Corner on Friday, to mark 50 years since he died.
The stone is inscribed with a quotation from Mr Lewis: “I believe in Christianity as I believe the sun has risen. Not only because I see it but because by it I can see everything else.â€
The former Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, paid tribute to CS Lewis during a special service.
