1. Jesus said, Come unto Me, you, who are laboring there; crushed beneath a load that exceeds all your strength to bear. You owe a debt God can't forget. Sin shall ruin bring. O sinner, how death will sting.
2. Danger awaits you, O sinner. Fiery hell is your grave. Heed, O man, the Word of the LORD: JESUS CAME TO SAVE! All He will claim, His Father named. Wrath for them was stayed long before this world was made.
3. Great is the blessing of knowing all is not well with your soul. Welcome is the call to repent. Turn and be made whole. God reveals sin, vileness within. He prepares the way for you to greet the New Day.
4. Jesus, Himself, is that New Day. Rest, you who long to be free. At the cross, the blood of the Lamb paid the debt for thee. Death and the grave cannot enslave where the Lamb is slain. Weary one, Christ knows your name.
5. Friend, you are hearing The Gospel. Have faith in God and believe. Father, Son and Spirit have All vowed to set you free. Let doubt and fear now disappear. By His grace, proceed. You, Jesus Christ will receive.
Finale: Jesus said, Come! Weary one, come! You, Jesus Christ will receive!
BIBLE PASSAGE:
Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
