Christmas Day Worship Services
Sunday December 25th, 2022
As a pastor who has been in the area for a while, I have noticed that at least sometimes churches will cancel worship services on Christmas Day.
The last time this happened, we still had our regularly scheduled services and, as I remember, some came to our service because their church had canceled their own.
This year, we are planning to have worship services both in the morning at 11 am and in the evening at 5 pm. We would like to invite anyone who would like to attend to attend. If you belong to another church, we are not trying to take you away from them. If you are not a member or regular attender somewhere else, we would love for you to consider us.
We are a Bible-believing ministry that believes the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, is by far the most important part of “Christmas.” Of course, family is important too. We acknowledge families get together on Christmas. However, having two worship-service options would allow time for family time and worship. The two services differ from each other also, so if you attended both, nothing would be repetitive.
Sermon Texts and Titles
11 am Luke 2:10-11 “The Meaning of Christ’s Birth”
5 pm Psalm 98 “Joy to the World!”
At these services we will pray, hear God’s Word preached and sing Birth-of-Christ oriented Hymns.
If you join us or not, we pray you will have a joyous Christ-honoring Christmas!
