In honor of the 50th anniversary of the release of "The Genesis Flood," Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary in Ankeny, Iowa, is planning a special recognition service for Dr. John Whitcomb on Monday, Sept. 19, 2011.
The service will include testimonies from people Dr. Whitcomb has influenced through his teaching, speaking and writing. Among them will be Dr. John Meyer, retired director of the Van Andel Creation Research Center.
Bryce Craig, president of P&R Publishing, will be on hand to personally present Dr. Whitcomb with a copy of the 50th anniversary edition of "The Genesis Flood."
There will even be a few more surprises!
A book signing will follow the service.
All are welcome to attend this event, and there is no charge. If you plan to attend, you are encouraged to let Faith know by contacting Don Anderson at andersond@faith.edu.
Dr. Whitcomb will be at Faith to teach a seminary module on apologetics during that week. He serves as visiting professor of theology and Bible exposition for FBTS.
