Whitcomb Ministries, Inc. has launched an innovative weekly half-hour radio teaching program.
The program, "Encounter God’s Truth," features the classical Bible teaching of author and theologian Dr. John Whitcomb.
Dr. Whitcomb is co-author of "The Genesis Flood" (Presbyterian and Reformed Publishing, 1961), the groundbreaking creationist book that he wrote with Dr. Henry Morris.
"Encounter God’s Truth" utilizes a unique format. In addition to providing in-depth teaching by Dr. Whitcomb, it also allows listeners to receive answers to questions about the Bible and Christianity each week, drawing upon Dr. Whitcomb’s many years of study in God’s Word.
The program is released on www.SermonAudio.com/Whitcomb each Friday afternoon at approximately 5 p.m. (eastern time).
The program is introduced each week by a majestic, rousing version of a familiar hymn – “I Sing the Mighty Power of God.”
"Encounter God’s Truth" is produced, distributed and represented by CreationWorks. For more information, or to sign up for the broadcast, contact them at (530) 876-6078 or EGT@CreationWorks.net.

With the goal of producing a high-quality radio program that is technically excellent as well as Biblically sound, Whitcomb Ministries has formed three strategic partnerships to assist us. As noted above, "Encounter God’s Truth" is produced by CreationWorks, which was founded by Pat Roy (www.CreationWorks.net). Roy has extensive radio experience and has helped a number of Christian organizations launch radio ministries. He is also the creator and producer of the outstanding "Jonathan Park" radio drama (www.JonathanPark.com), which has aired on Christian radio for the past 11 years – first by the Institute for Creation Research and, since 2003, by Vision Forum Ministries. Roy is involved in training homeschool students in the art of radio production, distribution and representation. He utilizes the talents of these students specifically in preparing "Encounter God’s Truth" for broadcast each week. Those who tune in to our program also hear another familiar voice in addition to Dr. Whitcomb’s. The host of "Encounter God’s Truth" is well-known Christian radio announcer Wayne Shepherd (www.WayneShepherd.net). Shepherd spent more than 30 years with Moody Broadcasting and has worked on a number of highly-regarded Christian radio and television programs. His mellow tone forms the perfect frame around Dr. Whitcomb’s timeless teaching. The music for our program is produced by Ray Britt, a talented composer whose work has been used on several radio projects.
