**Prayer & Preaching .. The Foundations of Ministry.**
The church is distracted. When the apostles in the first-century church faced mounting distractions, they found it necessary to give themselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the Word (Acts 6:4). We believe there is a need to return to these same foundations of ministry in our day.
With all that is happening in our society, the temptation for the church is to become sidetracked with fighting individual, secondary issues.
The dual conference themes of preaching and prayer reflect the realization that only ministries grounded in the faithful exposition of the Word and upheld by prayer have the power to effect any lasting changes in their hearers. Our goal is to refresh and equip church leaders so that they will return to their ministries with renewed strength and purpose.
**SPEAKERS**
We have worked hard to assemble an incredibly unique combination of powerful speakers including *Steven Lawson, Clarence Sexton, Joel Beeke, John Vaughn, Todd Friel, and Armen Thomassian*. It is a rare occurrence to have such diverse men all together at a single event so we're looking forward to a very special time of Christian unity and friendship.
**Lunch and refreshments will be provided for both days. Banner of Truth will be the official bookseller. This conference will not be webcast. Every attendee will receive a special gift.**
*The Foundations Conference is being organized by SermonAudio.*
