In the Middle Ages the church looked for power in relics — like splinters from Christ’s cross and the pants of Joseph. Today the church seeks power by capitulating to postmodern notions of truth or by redefining the Gospel to make it more palatable to the unbeliever. The church will not survive in the West if this trend is not reversed; more importantly, we will not see the glory of God exalted in our midst unless we return to the methods and practices He has given to edify His church. Our purpose in this conference is to encourage pastors and church leaders to proclaim faithfully the Word of God and help them learn to conduct their ministry in a way that will keep the Lord and His glory at the center of their efforts. Understanding the financial burden on the church today, Ligonier Ministries will assume most of the costs for this event with the exception of a $200 registration fee per pastor. This fee includes all meals and lodging during the conference. Transportation to Lake Mary, Florida, is your only additional cost. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing, by fax, or by email. Refund requests received before August 22, 2008, will be honored in full, minus a $15 cancellation fee. Cancellations received between August 23 and September 19 will receive a 50 percent refund. No refunds will be granted after September 19, 2008.
