Islam is based on the rejection of Jesus Christ as the Son of God. If Muhammed had known God at all, he would have been a good Christian. Islam is antichrist. Period.

Churches are not supposed to be run like businesses. If the leaders had prayed before taking out those loans, they would have had the protection of the wisdom of the Holy Spirit. Failure to follow Him leads to ruin. Seems like the enemy sprang a trap and they fell right into it.

I have an idea. Let's make it mandatory at certain Bible Colleges for graduates to spend time as chaplains in the armed forces. Sort of guerilla warfare. Get in, do as much evangelism in the glorious name of Jesus Christ as you possibly can before getting fired, then leave and pass it on to the next man.
Getting fired from a chaplaincy will become a rite of passage, and a badge of honor for all who wish to establish their reputation as true disciples of the Lord.

Mohler is absolutely right on this. And there is evidence from astrophysics that the speed of light slowed down dramatically in the early universe. It's called 'inflation'. Given that datum, we can see how the universe looks old, but is in fact young.

Let's pray that God will give grace to the family to endure this persecution, and that He will restore all the children to their parents and heal the damage.

At the millenium dome in London, the Archbishop of Canterbury intoned a prayer that did not even use the name of Jesus. God was immensely angry at that insult to His Son. Much of the Church of England is contemptible, having bowed to the godless spirit of the age.

I used to be interested in the topic of Obama's birth, but an independent group that verifies political facts actually travelled to Hawaii and cleared things up to my satisfaction. It's a non-issue, I think. Obama was born in Hawaii.

As far as I understand, Stephen Hawking is respected for his work on black holes which he completed decades ago, but that he is not well regarded for anything he has done since. His popular image far outruns his credibility among physicists in 2011.

We are fast approaching the 'Great and Terrible Day of the Lord'. Or, rather, it is fast approaching us. The unconverted simply do not know what they are doing. We must preach the gospel with ALL boldness and urgency.

Homosexuals and women should be excluded from the military. Women in the military is a recipe for adultery, and homosexuals in the military is a recipe for spoiled camaraderie.

At the risk of stating the blindingly obvious, why doesn't the American government simply deport all Pakistanis and Somalis? What are they doing in America, anyway?

You are mistaken about the issue of head coverings. Paul said it was 'shameful' for women not to have their heads covered. This is because all women at that time were required by the social mores of the time to have a head covering. Times have changed. Modern social mores in the UK, for instance, holds that it is shameful for a woman to have a head covering - it smacks of cultish behaviour and distracts from the pure message of the gospel.

I hate, loathe and detest the Chinese government. They are a bunch of hypocritical, arrogant, corrupt, elitist scum who dare to play God with their fellow countrymen. May they die quickly and be replaced by Christians.

Obama is the inevitable product of a long process of dumbing down, where style and appearance prevail over substance. The only thing Obama has ever run is his mouth. He's not even a natural born citizen, for goodness sake. And the liberals in the US and the Nobel committee have fawned over their darling quite obscenely. The Nobel Peace Prize henceforth means nothing, either to me or any intelligent observer.

I've often read people criticizing Warren for being a heretic, and where they quote him, I find myself saying, 'But he's right'. Warren's only fault, as far as I can see, is that he reads too much and comes across as a bit too pleased with himself. Apart from that, he's right on.

How can any mortal tell whether the person they marry is a Christian, or not?
When Jesus was ministering 2000 years ago, how could people tell that He was the Son of God?

Think about it.
