Jerry's Transforming Grace and The Discipliine of Grace keep reminding me to preach the Gospel to myself daily to avoid falling into the trap of legalism or antinomianism; that my bad days are not so bad that they are beyond the reach of God's grace, and my good days are not so good that they are beyond the need of God's grace, as he put it.
Honestly, I'm puzzled by any church that can obfuscate the meaning of marriage perspicuously taught in the Bible, and can simultaneously claim to have understood the Gospel. May God continue to bless you, NBCI, for making your stance clear even at the cost of separation.
Mr. Bell has just replaced the goalpost with a basketball rim and still insists on playing football. When someone like Mr. Bell can impose any meaning to what has been stately clearly in Genesis 1 & 2, the clear distinction between man and woman and their union, I fail to see how such a person can still think he's able to differentiate between God and Satan, light and darkness, right and left, etc., and still insist that others take his or her words at face value.
