Funny thing is, if I were to tell someone who "self-identified" as a whatchamacallit, that he was a thingamajig, he would be offended. But that's my perception of reality and according to MY feelings, I believe I am right and he is wrong.

Where does it end?

Jaycobee, is your question a sort of rhetoric, where you have the answer and expect others to see the answer from the question? If so, are you speaking from experience of actually doing this? Or merely theorising what may be possible?
It would be helpful if you could actually provide some biblical examples, say from the Book of Acts, which is the book of Christian conversions in abundance.
Oh, just one more question, sorry. What is it, do you think, that makes sinners who are at enmity with God, open to the gospel?
Remember when Jesus and His disciples would put on car washes and concerts for the people? I remember fishing derbies, bake sales, make-up parties and games nights as well...wait a minute, that's the wrong Bible. Never mind.

If you read the facts of this story, you'll see that this so called Christian disguised himself as a gay zombie and actually registered and participated in the parade whilst giving out his pamphlets. Not exactly an honoring witness if you ask me. He should be rebuked for his conduct, not celebrated for being persecuted.

From the article:

Whatcott registered in the 2016 Pride parade under the pseudonym Robert Clinton on behalf of the Gay Zombies Cannabis Consumers Association.

Dressed in skin-tight green bodysuits with face masks, Whatcott and five others marched in the parade and handed out 3,000 packages on “Zombie Safe Sex” that included a flyer entitled: “We want you to practice safe sex.”

The two-page pamphlet featured graphic images of anal warts, a mottled corpse described as an “AIDS fatality,” and one of “genital warts in the mouth,” beside a headshot of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau."

Here's the link to the article:

The second half of your comment below, is ridiculous. Why would you think that's any true believers mindset? Born again Christians, or those here, are hoping for, and expecting a whites only Heaven?? Absurd. Your mind "reeding" skills are horrendously off the mark.
Y'know Christopher, I get so tired of all this white bashing. For the record there's just as much racism in the black/Mexican/Chinese/Arab communities as there are in white communities. I think everyone needs to get off their high horses and drop the immaturity. Imagine a white only heaven? Gimme a break.

I watched a documetary once on these amazing birds and at one point the female eagle (much bigger than the male) went out hunting for the first time after laying her eggs. The forest went completely silent. It was awesome! It ripped a sloth from a tree like it was nothing. It can chase monkeys through the trees and catch them! What an awesome machine, created by God!

Herons are cool as well. I live right near two parks and they both have rivers flowing through them. I'll spot blue herons at one of them once in a while. Ever see a turkey vulture? I saw two of them sitting on top of a light pole in a parking lot one time...ugliest things ever. First time ever seeing one or even hearing of them, and hopefully the last...ha-ha.
Harpy eagles are my personal favorite. Big enough to hunt monkeys and sloths. I would love to see either an albatross or a California condor. Imagine having a 10-12 foot wingspan? Those birds of paradise are amazing though. They look like (sorry for being politically incorrect here) a black man's face. Those stereotypical black man from the 20's and 30's. Accident of evolution, yeah right.

Hey Lurker, I liked that. I've had the same sorts of examples. I think it's interesting how they know who and what the threats are, but will just hang out and eat their berries as we humans walk on by. I have a lot of bird feeders, and seeing the same person/people each day, and seeing who is providing their food, etc., takes the edge off even more. I don't see wrens, but I have bluejays, a couple different types of woodpeckers, red cardinals here and there, chicadees, hummingbirds, and your usual sparrows, and robins, etc.
I've watched Red-winged blackbirds defend their nests against eagles, crows and any other predatory bird, yet when a heron flies over, they leave it alone. Those birds are amazing protectors. I saw one once scratch at the head of an eagle and drive it off.

Or how about the Superb Bird of Paradise? Ever watch its mating dance? Very funny.

Lose your name again? "...smarter than he lets on"...if you mean that you think he understands more than he lets on about how wrong he is on the matter of Rome, I agree.
He made it clear for years that he is highly intelligent, said that he is of average intelligence a couple of months ago, and today, he's back to being highly itelligent in another thread, so I guess it comes and goes. 😊
John is a reflection of society and its slide-rule of ethics. One day he may go gambling and think nothing of it, then the next day, rebuke the evils of it. For morality to be genuine it must remain constant. Not flip-flop back and forth according to the flow of society. This is what has always set biblically saved Christians apart from others is the fact we remain constant and true, standing up for God, the Gospel and moral absolutes. Canada is fast becoming an immoral cesspool where anything goes. Only anarchy can be the result.

I remember one time arguing with a catholic apologist. He knew that I had been baptized and confirmed into the catholic faith as a youth. Anyway, towards the end, he said that since I understood catholicism and still rejected it, then I had excommunicated myself.
What an honor that was for me and JohnY thinks it is a negative.

Living in Canada is like living in WW2 Germany...or at least just before Hitler made his stand. Trudeau is making life very hard for us with his Islam/Homosexual love-ins.

In my town, they have just approved the painting of a central sidewalk in rainbow colors. No one stood against the four lesbians because they are scared to. What will life be like for our children in 10 years?! I shudder to imagine.

I ran into problems posting back when SC quit posting because of issues with posts not going through. For reference I did tier 2 support for computers and networks, so I am not tech illiterate. I contacted the support team and gave them my ip address and other needed information. They were gracious enough to work with me more than once to resolve the issue. They did follow up email to make sure everything was doing okay and the problem was resolved. In my opinion they went over and above to resolve the issue and always with grace. These are very fine people. So, please don't fault them, their moderators or say that someone supposedly got you kicked off the site. I know from experience it is frustrating but they will take the time to help resolve the issue.
What did they say the problem was? Seems silly to all of the sudden not allow someone to post unless they change their moniker.

SA would deny anything I'm sure and say the problem was on my end. There's no rhyme or reason to ban me or anyone unless they are being abusive or a spammer. I'm neither. It's just the reality of living in an age of political correctness.

We must always realize the dangers of and guard against deviating from truth. Anyone who is familiar with a compass or a protractor knows that even 1 degree off of 90 degrees will spell disaster in the long run. If you use a compass to point toward a certain signpost and miss it by one degree, in the end, you will be off the mark so badly, you won't even be close to that mark you originally set out for. The same goes for the Christian life. We have to always remain centered on the absolute sovereignty of God. This is our hub. Everything spans out from there.

Notice any religion that does not acknowledge the sovereignty of God, has self as its king. Whether it be Nee, Copeland, BG...every single preacher and self-professed Christian that goes astray or is a wolf in sheep's clothing tells their followers that THEY have power. They can control their circumstances. That God did, but they didn't...etc.

It's been the same since the Garden and it will be the same til the end of time.

Time for open membership, but a closed forum, perhaps, like with sign in credentials. Mr Roboto can't do his job with all of these unscrupulous spammers stopping by to type their clickbait manually.
It'd be nice if SA would take a more active role in preventing this junk from being posted. If we want to report a spammer, it takes so long to go through the steps, that with all of this, just on this one article, it would take an hour to report it all. It'd be nice if SA would delegate volunteers to monitor the comments and keep the junk out. It could get worse you know...much worse, and once we read what someone's posted, it's in there for life.

with an attitude like that no wonder He has turned His face from you, turn back to him and open up your eyes, pray for repentance, beg for His mercy, you will find in time He blesses in this life too
i have had a horrible life and for the last 15 years have been extreme agony, poverty and homelessness, but now it all has changed, i'm not suffering like i did before, i have a house and soon He will bring the hearts of my sons back to me
Some people, dearly beloved by God go through absolute hell on earth their entire life. Riches, happiness and peace have never been indicators that God loves us, quite the opposite usually. Remember, if we are experiencing hell on earth, this will be the only hell we will ever know. I pray not for comfort, but for conformity. I pray that God gives me what I need, not what I want. I pray that God keeps my heart soft and easily cut, otherwise, it will grow cold and hard over time. Whatever God gives us, receive it with thanksgiving and give it back to Him in service to bring Him the glory He deserves.

More proof every day that God has only very rarely in all of human history had any part to do with anything, for everyone else and for all the other time we are forsaken and abandoned by an apathetic being who only offers something after this life, not for this life. He left a wife and children behind no doubt who will suffer for decades until they die, all for a Crocodile, who the pastor did not die to save from his sins, pff.
Why do you bother? Haven't you got better things to do than to post your hate for God on a Christian forum? Honestly, you really need to get a life. You will stand before the God you hate one day and be punished for your vitriol, and no one will save you. You have one life here on earth and you spend it daily ripping the God who could at any moment end your life, but through His amazing grace and patience continues to allow you to steal His air. I'd tread carefully friend, if I were you.

Thanks for clearing that up. I had been picturing a bald, red-faced midget with a pack of smokes rolled up in your sleeve, and driving a 350 superduty with 50" wheels and a lift kit.
That was me before I was re-educated. Now I only smoke Pop-eye cigarettes and drive a minivan.
