Encouraging testimony! Thanks for sharing, my stepdaughter is doing an internship with the Navigators in Dundee, Scotland. I pray that God will use her to share the Gospel, so people can come to know Jesus and have a personal relationship with God.
I first found about Dr. Alan Cairns back in 2005 here on SermonAudio, while searching Dr. Ian Paisley’s services.
I was listening and watching regularly to Dr. Cairns and week after week the Holy Spirit was convicting me through his preaching. It was like I was in a boxing ring, on the ropes with punch after punch and then one blow I was on the floor and realised I was a sham before God.
I had sinned against Him most of my life in a backslidden hole and I needed to repent and totally turn away from my sinful life back to a relationship with Jesus.
I thank the Lord for using Dr. Alan Cairn to minister the Word of God to me through SermonAudio.
Same sort of thing happened to my son’s dance class who have special needs and disabilities. They used to advertise the zoom code online but now change the code weekly and send it out in an email to members weekly.
Great Sermon! Thanks for posting this broadcast and I feel it is important that John MacArthur and Phil Johnson keep writing these letter blog articles to help direct us younger 30somthing pastor leaders. There is so much worldliness in reformed circles these days that we need the maturity of older wiser church leaders who have gone through decades of seeing liberalism and emergent theologies coming into the reformed church. I have learnt from over the last few years to shut up and stop being thinned skinned and listen and act appropriately to respected leaders of the reformed faith.
Great Book! This is an important DVD’s and was shocked in a happy way, that this is being set up and advertised on SA and I hope one day they will be available here in the UK for Scotland. I miss Dr. Alan Cairns weekly sermons but these gems of (Q&A) Questions & Answers pack are easy to understand for anyone and I use the You Tube copies to share online. I pray these DVD packs are spread like you have done with “Let the Bible Speak Radio” that pack a punch that changed my life and can change others for ever.
This is a very sad day with the loss of David, I was touched by his ministry years ago on a sermon he did on Bearing Fruit. Does anyone know how his wife is?
Hello, I would like to recommend a broadcast on Sermon Audio yesterday from the Knowing the Truth Radio Program at http://www.sermonaudio.com/source_detail.asp?sourceid=knowingthetruth. Broadcaster Pastor Kevin Boling was interviewing Voddie Bauchamon on his new book Family Driven Faith but mentioned the topic Youth Ministries that we are having here and I think it would be good to listen to, the link is here http://www.sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.asp?sermonID=1222091431517
Great Sermon! Thank you for this comprehensive message backed up with experience, the Voddie Baucham book and material on sermon audio is imperative to have as a resource in any ministry.
Closely studied subject! This is so amazing that Dr. Alan Cairns has closely studied this and believes that according to the scriptures Christ died late on a Wednesday. I am not sure if Dr. Cairns has done any deeper sermons on this but I am going to have a go.
