My wife and I are very imvolved in mimistry and I work full time as well....We had two daughters pretty close together. We decided to take a bit more time before the next one simply because we are totally overloaded. But about 11 months my wife got pregnant....it was a very difficult pregnancy but we never once considered abortion or anything like that. Now our son is two months old and is such a jou and a huge blessing!
The Old Testament is a model, or in better terms a shadow of what was to come. The New Testament shows us who Jesus Christ was In the Flesh and as God. So we who claim to be followers of Christ need to spend oir life studying Christ not his shadow.
Who would Christ have voted for? Very good question. Our lives need to be christ-like. Using the Old Testament to justify our lives today is very dangerous. Christ had not died and come back to life in the Old Testament. Christ, many times in the New Testament said things like in the Old Testament I told you not to commit adultery but now I say if you look on a woman with lust in your heart you have committed adultery. Or in the Old Testament I said do not kill, but now I say if you hate your brother you are a murderer. Christ is to be our role model, and the one who remodel our lies after. If there is anything in our life that we are uncomfortable asking if Christ would do not only should we question our motives we should question or standing with Christ
I believe that for voting for the lesser of two evils we are still voting for evil. And that is something I cannot do. God has called us to lift our leaders up in prayer and to support them in any way we can that is not unbiblical. That I can do!

I'm sorry JY, but the Bible commands us be a light on a hill, the salt of the earth, always speaking to the one around us the good news of Christ. A Democrat has the same opportunity to give their life to Christ as any other person. I also am against abortion, but please, please lets not wish death on anyone.

Ken from Tenn...... tho not living in the south anymore, I spent the first 20 so.e years of my life there. I'm a die hard southern boy...... Slavery goes against scripture. Insurrection against and rebellion towards your country is evil.....and that's the tip of the iceberg. We both know that the war wasnt fought over slavery. And beings ur from the south, I'm sure u realize that in many parts of the south the feelings and hostility still run strong.....I know I'm not Jon, but that's just an insider's view!
That Elder at that Baptist Church I attend on Sunday mornings divorced and remarried before he became a Christian. So Jesus forgave his divorce and remarriage when he became a Christian.

We have been very blessed by a ministry we are a part of called Christian Healthcare Ministries. Being a part of it gives you exemption from other insurances....
JY, ive been trying to give u the benefit of a doubt.....but this is the limit... even the pastor u worship says gambling is wrong. Our church sent my family to work on a native american rez. I work full time, spend evenings and weekends ministering, work on my old house when i have time, and try to spend as much time as possible with my family, and i preach at our church as well, bout once every 2 months... i am on the verge of burnout.... gambling has ruined the rez.... its not something a true soldier gets involved in... man up and start fighting the good fight of faith!
